I really enjoyed that movie back then too. Only now I've just learnt that Hanna-Barbera and James Horner were surprisingly involved with the production of it. And I always assumed it was just another Don Bluth movie.

yup, I thought it was a Don Bluth movie too, but he didn't do it like many other movies people claims he did, like, Balto is not his stuff, neither is We're Back: A Dinosaur Story, not even The Swan Princess or Ferngully, absurd how a simple cartoon aesthetic can mandela effect this much
